Concept of Activity:
This day, a source of immense national pride, serves as a reflection of India’s democratic principles and rich cultural diversity. Beyond the joyous festivities, Republic Day holds educational importance, providing a platform to educate the younger generation about the constitution and the struggle for freedom.
Objective of the Activity:OES INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL celebrated 75th Republic Day with great patriotic fervour on 26th January, 2024. The program commenced with the a patriotic dance by the students of Nursery and Junior kg followed by recitation of a Hindi poem by senior kg students dedicated to our the Nation, Grade I,II And senior kg students performed on few patriotic songs and dance which was mesmerizing which f filled the air with a sense of national pride and unity. All faculty and students actively participated in the celebration, reinforcing the idea of unity in diversity and the importance of the day. The Principal in her address apprised the gathering, briefly about the making of the Indian Constitution History and importance of Republic Day and on Constitutional Rights & Duties of a proper citizen.
- Pre-primary students did few art activity to have a better understanding of this special day
- Nursery students came up with a beautiful pam print activity to make our national bird peacock.
- Senior kg students did straw painting activity on India gate.
- Junior kg students did a finger dabbing activity on India map.
Success criteria:Celebrating Republic Day gives the student a feeling of patriotism, it was a goose bumping moment to see our tiny toes singing, dancing, and talking about our Nation.
