Activity name: NO BAG DAY

Concept of Activity: The entire growth and development of youngsters is greatly aided by school instruction. It is widely accepted that youngsters have natural skills to effortlessly absorb knowledge. When kids are given access to a caring and stress-free learning environment, their learning potential is maximized. OESIS, Vashi successfully completed its first “No Bag Day” on 25th August 23
The objective of the activity: The overarching goal of the ‘No Bag Day’ is to support the kids in having fun while they study. The specific goals of No Bag Days are to increase practice opportunities and capability for observation-based learning.
Success Criteria: The students performed well; they could form words and arrange the right sound words in phonics. Students could read the words with proper phonics sounds. Counting assists kids in learning numbers and the right sticks on the board were placed during the numeracy activity.
Nursery children were able to count and arrange the pompoms in accordance with the numbers. They understood that toys and other favourite belongings will not be carried to school,only books, a water bottle, a pencil, and a lunchbox should be brought to school.
The day culminated on an enjoyable note with the screening of a short educational movie. The children happily went home learning about being humble, sharing what we have with others and friendship. A fun quotient was added to teaching and learning
