Concept of Activity:
Community helpers can be defined as any person who helps with our health and overall wellbeing. Students will be able to identify different types of community helpers and the tools they need to do their job properly, as well as explain how the jobs benefit the community.
Objective of the Activity:On 12th February 2024 the entire Pre-primary of OES INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL took part in a class activity on community helpers with great enthusiasm, they spoke about their favorite community helper with ease and confidence. There was a fun element too, as many of them came dressed as one of the community helpers of their choice and enacted the role for the same the most popular community helpers were the doctors, teachers, lawyers, police man, firefighters, piolet etc. They even managed to include the social message in their speech, for example few students who came dressed as doctors gave input about healthy eating and healthy living, children who came dressed as teacher spoke about inculcating good values and morals in day-to-day life.
Success criteria:The class activity on community helpers was a wonderful platform where in children came and spoke with confidence and they also had a wide exposer on community helpers by looking at each other. It was concluded with active participation and artistic creations from our children towards their voyage of learning.
